Игры на уроке английского. You Cannot Drink Tea Without

Многое, что замечал учитель в классе, оказывалось поводом для новых игр. Так, однажды учителя расстроили поникшие цветы в горшках, пустые лейки и... безразличие учеников к этому.

Teacher: Victor, have a look at the flowers... What's the matter, why are you standing? Oh, you cannot water the flowers without a watering-can. Here is one, take it. What are you waiting for now?
Victor: There is no water in the watering-can.
Teacher: Ah, you can't water the flowers without water. Go and bring some water... Thank you... Oh, but you haven't watered all the flowers.
Victor: I cannot water that flower without a chair. It is too high...
Teacher: All right, take a chair. Now Katya, clean the blackboard.
Katya: I cannot clean it without a duster.
Teacher: Take the duster. Misha, write the date on the blackboard.
Misha: There is no chalk. I cannot write the date without chalk.
Teacher: No, you can't. Take a piece of chalk. Now, supposing you want to drink tea and you can't. Why? Jane: We can't drink tea without water.
Misha: We can't drink tea without a cup.
Pavel: I can't drink tea without a spoon.
Olya: I can't drink tea without a saucer.
Kolya: I can't drink tea without sugar.

Ребята поняли смысл игры, теперь можно устроить состязание между командами: кто окажется изобретательней.

Teacher: People can't live without...
Team "A" Team "B"
Katya: People can't live without air.
Andrei: People can't live without fire.
Victor: People can't live without water.
Masha: People can't live without houses.
Kolya: People can't live without food.
Pavel: People can't live without schools.
Jane: Pupils can't live without teachers.

Ученики так разошлись в своей фантазии, что были в состоянии уже каламбурить, и это было лучшим показателем успеха игры. Победила команда "А" со счетом 5:2.
